Warm and fuzzy's or fuzzies???

Well as I was looking along other blogs they were taking about the warm and fuzzy jar! So I decided to give it a try.

Basically you start with a jar and some little fuzzy's, the rule is or the idea is in order to get a fuzzy in the jar you have to do or say something nice helpful or Good!!! This challenge was for Olivia my 5 year old, she has gotten a little big for her bricthes, and it has nothing to do with her mother so don't even say it!! It is all her Dad's fault!!!

So I got the stuff and she got to decorate her jar, which she loved doing, and walla the plan has begone. I have to say it is working magic around this house. She even started making her bed all by herself, I love it.

So when the jar is full off to toy' s r us and she can pick a toy!!!

Good job Miss Olivia!!

Those were cute photos Em. I think that idea ia a good one. Makes the little ones feel more like they are a part of "trying to do good things" cause they helped create it.
Rewards are always motivating.

then you should tell her if she does something naughty or didn't obey, she has to take OUT a warm and fuzzie.

Gosh I have gorgeous grand daughters!!! They are just like grandma wendy

The girls are so beautiful, Emma.

Great idea! I'm anxious to know how long it takes her to fill up her jar. And I say fuzzies. Looks cuter.

I love how you let your cute girls decorate the jars - Love the hearts, it really tells what the jar is about doesn't it!
This is such a great way to teach kids about saying and doing nice things.

that is a fantastic idea! i ♥ it! I bet i could get my 4 year old on board with it...but my 10 year old would roll his eyes at me I'm sure!!! (that's boys for ya!) ...but honestly the younger one is the one who needs the most reminding! ;)

...and I was reading Wendy's blog and figured out you're her daughter...i'm a little slow! I just wanted to tell you I enjoy reading your mom's blog...she brings a smile to my face...i enjoy reading about all of her adventures! I'm following you now too!

I love this idea! I wish blogging was popular when my kids were small, I could have learned so much. So glad the warm and fuzzy jar is working, keep at it.

Cute girls, and great idea with the jar. I might have to try that with my boys. But, I think we will use blue and green and red fuzzies, and a wooden box decorated with trucks! But they do need motivation to get things done, for sure.
Thanks for stopping by my blog _ you have a cute blog here. I'm gonna follow, if that's ok!

I think as adults we need a "warm and fuzzy jar", heck I think I will start one here in my house Emma!
Oh your mom thinks she's so smart with the "take one OUT", but you know, I think she's right... let us know how it goes.
P.S. Loved your girls and you in the pumpkin patch. SOOOOOOO cute.
Love Claudie

I love the idea of a warm fuzzy jar. Do you think a teenager will go along with that idea? And your girls are adorable!

Ahhh. To motivate. To set a goal. Works on even the smallest of people doesn't it.

They would probably get a real kick out of reading all the things you like them doing in the jar too.

.. and later, when they're older, they can learn to look at their motivation for their behavior ... for a prize, for approval, to bless someone else or because they are being true to themselves; being who they are.
