Halloween

So the Halloween holiday was a hit at our house, we had so much fun. The festivities started on Thursday night with some sugar cookies, yummy. Olivia is a very good helper Garacelyn probably would be to but we like to do things when she's asleep. Don't judge she's a hand full!

Then Friday was the parade at Olivia's school so much fun, she didn't want to wear her wig because a girl who was Ariel last year didn't wear a wig and she didn't want anyone to laugh. I told her that maybe that little girls mom wasn't cool enough to buy her a wig and how lucky are you that your mommy is, COOL!!!! She still said no, bummer but she still looked cute. Sad that she is already worried about what people think!

After school it was off to the house for some fun movie watching with dad. Saturday morning came very early for Miss Olivia 6:00 which is very early for her, she usually gets up at 8:00sh. I begged her to go back to sleep and snuggle with her dad, but no she was up and wanted her makeup on for the day. I said no way you have to wait for tonight sis ta!!!! So only about every hour I got asked if it was time for her cousins to come over and start trick o treating, NO OLIVIA IT IS NOT TIME!!!!!

Finally the time had arrived and her cousin have come and the costumes where put on, oh the girls looked so dang cute, They loved every minute of the night and so did their mom.

Enjoy!

How cute they all look!

i love what you told her about the Ariel wig! You are a Cool Mom!

We had the same predicament with wanting to trick-or-treat first thing in the morning...it's hard for little kids to understand that...Halloween falling on a Saturday only made it more difficult!!! ;)

I too think you are freaking COOL! Kids...they don't know how good they've got it, cool mom's are so hard to come by! I love the picture of the dog looking out the window...needing some candy! Your girls are darling...fun costumes!

What darling costumes and girls! Did you get rid of all that candy to your trick-or-treaters? We had a lot left over but it was stuff I don't like, so, it's still left over. It's fun the way the kids are so excited for Halloween. I wonder what time they'll wake up on Christmas morning!

Hello Miss Emma, Miss Olivia and Miss Gracie. Oh and doggy in the window... door... so so cute.
Too bad she didn't want to wear the wig. I would have loved it at her age. We only had plastic, ugly, sweaty fake masks when I was a kid.
I'll have some of those Almond Joy's too. Sometimes you feel like a nut... some times you don't. You probably don't remember that slogan do ya? your mom would.
Happy Blue Monday Emma
Love Claudie

Those were just the cutest costumes!!! Your daughter looked adorable in the Ariel costume and you're right it is sad when they start young caring what other people think.

Our son was 4 years old and was mortified what my husband was wearing, but then again he was wearing these white spandex shorts. I guess any kid at any age would be mortified!
