Yup it has been a ruff time at the Lemke house... First Gracelyn had a cold. Nothing very serious she didn't even have a fever, I just knew she didn't feel great.
Then I got the COLD yuck I felt like crap.... I felt so bad for Grace because I don't think I was nice enough, If she felt like me then she did great!!!! I hate to be sick, it is so hard to get all your mom stuff done when all you want to do is lay on the couch.
And now Olivia is very sick, she has a fever soar throat and looks like crap( well she is still my miss olivia so pretty but you can tell she is very sick) I took her to the doctor last night to make sure she didn't have strep. The doctor wasn't the one we usually see, but he was great!!!! HE walked in and asked Miss Olivia if she swallowed a horse.... NO SHE SAYS WITH A BIG GIGGLE!!!! No strep but he did give us an atibiotic for and ear infection, that we didn't know was the problem.... but thanks just the same!!!!
So now all we can do is wait to feel better, wait for the sun to shine, wait for our trip to AZ, wait for my mom to come, wait for me to loose the last 10 pounds that don't want to leave my bottom. WAIT WAIT WAIT!!! What else is a mom to do????

So sorry, you've all been sick. Don't beat yourself up though. I'm convinced that adults are hit harder with colds than children. At least that's what I tell myself when I'm wimpier than my kids.

She just came skipping down the stairs saying she feels better and ran around the kitchen table...but I think she will hit the wall sooner then later!!!!

I've lost 5 lbs. cuz I can't eat anything solid. It was all suppose to be over and done with by next wed. now they can't take me till March 2nd. So...that bikini might just look good on me in Fla. LOL
Really sorry your feeling yucky. I know I was there a couple weeks ago, and I never get sich. Use that nose spray, it really works unless you don't want to taste your food lol
Your mom is coming? When? She didn't tell me. We've been emailing each other. Man I wish she lived closer.

Oh Man - Does cold and flu and sore throat season never end?? You poor things, it's bad enough being sick but having everyone sick...UGH!!

Mom my camera works I just have to plug it in so the battery is charged!!! It's down stairs and it's cold down stairs.... remember!!!!

It always suck to be sick especially when you got little ones that need to be taken care of. I have to admit that I don't getting sick because I always lose weight when I do, I know it's pathetic.
Teah, it seems like as a mom we wait a lot-- for kids to feel better, for them to get more independent, etc. But if we are not waiting then we are CRAZY BUSY! It is one extreme or the other. When my kids were younger I don't remember a lot of time in between!

I feel your pain!!! I felt so guilty when I was sick cause I made the big kids look after the little ones so I could take naps!!! And my house is still standing! Hope it gets out of your house soon!
I think that sore throat is going around. I had it weekend before last - and I rarely ever get sick!
And I am trying to get rid of those last pounds. Although, I did get rid of them after my last baby. They just all came back this winter for no reason at all (other that eating too much crap!) Rats!
I just read your moms post..I know for a fact that she's made mistakes, but I also know how much she loves all of you. We all want our kids to love us no matter what. I'm feeling like a bitch lately to everyone here. I've always wanted them to grow up fast so I could have my life back, I've got it now and it's boring, so what I'm trying to say is enjoy them while they're small. You have control now, soon you won't. Not sure why I came here first, just because I guess I needed to say hi.
Only 4 more sleeps before I leave. I'm soooo ready.
